A Day in the Life The Acute Care and Monitoring business unit strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through Monitoring the respiratory status and Depth of Sedation of patients. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role. The Associate Sales Representative (ASR)   within   Acute   Care and Monitoring (ACM)   will partner with the field sales and clinical teams and   function as   a resource in markets to   execute sales activities ,   lead in-service activities, and support expansion and growth within our   Sedation Management   business .

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the ASR will   be assigned to   an   individual Region,   and   will have individual quota responsibility , while supporting business initiatives in tandem with assigned sales representatives. Additionally, the ASR may   be required   to work outside   of their individual Region   as required by business   needs. This field-based role requires 75% travel over a multi-state region, which involves significant overnight travel and non-traditional hours.

Territory: California, Las Vegas, NV and Hawaii / looking for a candidate in close proximity to LA/OC. Overnight travel 50%+ anticipated Primary Responsibilities     The ASR works under direction of the   Regional Business   Manager and in tandem with the   sales representatives   on the team   to :   E nable more selling time , s pecifically   with   two   key areas of   focus:   e xecu ting   sales activities   and provid ing   sales support within   a   key customer base .

Assist /   l ead in-service activities relat ed   to disposable s   and/or hardware within   a   key customer base. Install any necessary equipment/hardware and perform functional/safety tests and/or introduction or collaboration necessary with   customers . Drive expansion of   ACM products within the territory and coordinate and collaborate with the sales team and other internal stakeholders   as needed.

Focus on customer satisfaction   and increased   utilization   as a high priority. Support conversions   /   sales efforts outside of the region as needed including :    Product introduction s and demos   to staff and Clinicians    Inventory balancing exercises at both the site and/or warehouse   level. Required Qualifications     High School diploma or equivalent with at least 4   years ’   or   Associate’s   degree with 2   years ’   or   Bachelor’s   degree with 0   years ’   of relevant experience in sales , clinical, or related in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.

Must live within 50 miles of the territory or be open to relocation   Preferred Qualifications         Minimum of 1-3   years’   previous   field sales experience   preferred. Prior medical device , business to   business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred. Knowledge of sales techniques   typically   gained through education and / or on   the job   l
