Job Description/Preferred Qualifications PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Performs the build, set-up, calibration, and testing of mechanical assemblies. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. May audit for accuracy and deliver material kits based on production needs. LEVELING REQUIREMENTS: • SKILL: Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. • JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
Has little or no role in decision-making. Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. • SUPERVISION: Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
