Automation Manager - Platform Owner

About the role   As our Automation Manager, Operational Technology,   you'll   own   critical   Pre-Pack   platform s   and help shape how automation technology is developed,   standardised   and scaled across the LEGO® manufacturing network. This is a global platform ownership role that combines technical credibility with stakeholder   management .

You'll   work closely with Production, Maintenance and R&D partners while supporting sites across Europe, Mexico,   China   and Vietnam. You'll   coordinate platform development, guide technology   decisions   and help ensure robust,   secure   and reliable production capabilities for the future. Please note that you should expect to travel 20-40 days   a year. Required Qualifications   Delivered PLC programming, installation and troubleshooting within complex manufacturing environments   Managed automation,   controls   or operational technology solutions supporting production platforms   Built and   maintained   industrial network architectures and cyber-secure automation environments   Led software upgrades, platform   development   or technology implementation initiatives   Coordinated work across multiple departments with competing operational priorities   Communicated effectively in English within international manufacturing   organisations   Preferred Qualifications   Developed solutions using industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP or OPC UA   Designed or supported functional safety systems, electrical   diagrams   and troubleshooting activities   Managed platform ownership responsibilities across multiple sites or regions   Experience d   working under remote management and ke pt   consistent and filtered information flow upwards.
