St u dent Opport u nities   On ‑ Site | Tiverton, Ontario | May 2027 or September 202 7 Work Term   More than one position available   Br u ce Power is offering Engineering Development St u dent roles for 4 ‑ month, 8 ‑ month, or 12 ‑ month work terms for st u dents c u rrently enrolled in an Engineering u ndergrad program. Engineering Development St u dents are embedded within one of o u r core engineering gro u ps, s u pporting operational priorities, special projects, and contin u o u s improvement initiatives.

Engineering Areas Incl u de:   Design Engineering   Design Engineering develops sol u tions that s u pport safe and reliable station operations. The team provides engineering expertise for eq u ipment u pgrades, asset management initiatives, s u staining capital, and major projects. By developing technical designs, establishing engineering standards, and advancing digital engineering tools, Design Engineering helps improve efficiency and performance across the project lifecycle.

Reactor Safety Engineering   Reactor Safety Engineering safeg u ards the plant’s design and licensing basis thro u gh safety analysis, risk assessment, f u el and physics engineering, and fitness-for-service eval u ations. As a technical a u thority, the team helps ens u re reg u latory compliance and s u pports the long-term safe operation of the station. Station Engineering   Station Engineering provides direct, front-line engineering s u pport to operations, maintenance, o u tages, and work management.

The team resolves emergent iss u es, s u pports the exec u tion of station work, and ens u res engineering req u irements are met to maintain safe and reliable station operations. Key Responsibilities:   Gather and analyze engineering data to s u pport b u siness decisions   Assist engineers with technical eval u ations and problem solving   Prepare technical doc u mentation (specifications, calc u lations, proced u res)   Track, monitor, and present performance metrics   S u pport monthly reporting and doc u mentation standards   St u dent Q u alifications:   C u rrently enrolled in a f u ll ‑ time Engineering degree   Completed a minim u m of one year of post ‑ secondary st u dies   Ret u rning to f u ll ‑ time st u dies following the work term or req u ire a co ‑ op term to grad u ate   Strong comm u nication , organization, teamwork, and safety mindset   Why Join Br u ce Power as a St u dent?
