The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Cloud Infrastructure Operations Engineer (DevOps), you will have the opportunity to contribute to the reliability, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud and enterprise infrastructure supporting Health Information Systems (HIS).
You will work at the intersection of cloud operations, automation, and platform engineering, helping improve operational efficiency and service reliability through structured engineering practices and modern tooling. How you will make an impact Operate and support cloud infrastructure across AWS environments, ensuring reliable and stable platform performance Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools Monitor system health and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and operational readiness Troubleshoot infrastructure, integrations, and platform issues to minimize service impact and downtime Participate in a 24x7 operational support model, including shift-based work and on-call rotation, to ensure continuous service availability Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, and 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or production operations environments Strong working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.) Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, or PowerShell) Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent) Exposure to enterprise infrastructure platforms (backup, storage, recovery, or operational tooling) Familiarity with security and access control systems (Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, or similar) Experience working with system integrations, APIs, and automation across platforms Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment Additional qualifications
