Job Summary: Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Coating department 1st Shift Key Responsibilities: Verify presence of all associates on the line; adjust for absences Ensure associates work in a safe manner; report unsafe acts to supervisor Ensure cleanliness of coating line is maintained Verify schedule according to product and coating type (list received from Planning dept.) Ensure turf is produced at a first quality standard Ensure coating line is running at specification speed Operate perforator as required Contact maintenance for machine problems or breakdowns Ensure autonomous maintenance is completed as specified Ensure startup and shutdown checklists are completed as needed Ensure inventory of consumables are maintained ; report low levels to supervisor Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Qualifications and Requirements: Ability to provide instruction a nd direction to employees Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to solve practical problems in situations with low supervision Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs and Safety Data Sheets Ability to communicate effectively with employees & supervisor Basic computer skills including e-mail, internet use, and spreadsheets What We Offer Hybrid work option* Benefits that go beyond the basics Matching contribution retirement savings plan Learning & development program EAP program + family Generous holiday schedule available *If applicable Responsible Manufacturing – Protecting Our Planet for the Future EcoVadis Platinum Medal - recognizing top 1% global performance in sustainability excellence.
