As a Consultant within the Onsite Deployment Unit (ODU), you will act as a trusted business partner embedded within client teams, supporting commercial decision-making through robust forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic insight generation.
You will work closely with commercial, finance, and brand stakeholders to develop and manage forecasts that drive critical business decisions within the pharmaceutical industry. The Role You will play a key role in the ownership, development, and maintenance of commercial forecasting models, helping clients understand performance drivers, assess future scenarios, and align business expectations across markets and functions.
Key responsibilities include: Owning and managing commercial forecasting models and forecast processes for pharmaceutical products and portfolios. Reviewing forecast assumptions and identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities. Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support strategic decision-making. Partnering closely with commercial, finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure forecast alignment and consistency.
Facilitating forecast review discussions and supporting decision-making forums. Translating complex quantitative analyses into actionable recommendations for business leaders. Developing client-ready presentations and communicating forecasting outputs, assumptions, and implications effectively. Acting as an embedded consultant within client organizations, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing strategic support.
Supporting planning cycles and business reviews through data-driven insights and forecasting expertise. Managing multiple projects and priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead forecasting projects independently, with accountability for quality, timelines, and client engagement. Develop, maintain, and enhance forecasting methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.
Analyze internal and external data sources to support forecast assumptions and decision making. Challenge and validate assumptions through quantitative analysis and business discussions. Deliver scenario planning exercises and evaluate potential business impacts under different market conditions. Collaborate with commercial, finance, market access, and brand teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders. Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on forecasting-related topics. Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting tools, methodologies, and best practices. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have Approximately 4+ years of experience in commercial forecasting, business analytics, consulting, or a related pharmaceutical industry role.
Strong experience building, managing, and interpreting commercial forecasts. Experience reviewing assumptions, assessing risks, and conducting scenario analyses. Demonstrated ability to work closely with commercial and finance stakeholders. Experience operating as an embedded consultant or strategic business partner within client organizations. Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and key commercial drivers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex datasets. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different organizational levels. Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
