Floyd College of Medicine , you will serve as the primary operational and administrative lead for Year 4 of the medical education (MD) curriculum, managing the planning, implementation, continuous improvement, and assessment of more than 100 clinical rotation courses across multiple regional campuses. You will oversee complex curriculum operations, course development and maintenance within learning management and registration systems, and serve as a key liaison among students, faculty, course directors, regional campus teams, and academic leadership.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing curriculum logistics, supporting assessment and grading processes, maintaining compliance with accreditation, FERPA, and HIPAA requirements, and ensuring the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of educational programs. Additionally, you will drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, provide faculty training, analyze data to inform decision-making, and proactively resolve operational challenges for a successful delivery of the Year 4 curriculum.
In this role, you will work closely with faculty, staff, other units of the College of Medicine, and regional medical campus locations to ensure all aspects of the MD program curriculum are coordinated consistently across the regional campuses and clinical locations, including curriculum scheduling, planning, and organization. This is a full time (100 % FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $4,300 to $5,779 (Steps A-M) | Range 47 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 . In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, Biology, Social, Physical, or Health Sciences, or other closely allied field given context of work experience and/or other degree type AND two years of full-time experience as an Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2; OR equivalent education/experience.
Demonstrated experience with records or data management systems such as learning management systems, electronic health record systems, human capital management systems, customer relationship management systems, or similar platforms. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in a fast-paced environment including frequent interactions with students, faculty, staff and/or the public.
