You will lead matrixed, cross-functional teams to deliver cyber modernization outcomes across the defense portfolio, partnering closely with the CTO Cyber Capability Team Lead to translate practice offerings into executable engagement plans and measurable customer value. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Lead and coach a matrixed cyber delivery team driving full-lifecycle engagements—from technical security assessment, mitigation strategy selection and through implementation—focused on Zero Trust principles, RMF-aligned architecture, OT/ICS security, and platform & weapons system cyber hardening.
Transpose proposed solutions into actionable engagement plans with clear scope, milestones, and outcomes, including development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), aligning delivery practices to ITIL 4, Cybersecurity best practices, DevSecOps solutions, and agile principles. Partner with the CTO Cyber Capability Team Lead to operationalize offerings and reusable assets (patterns, playbooks, delivery accelerators) across offensive/defensive cyber, OT/ICS, and platform/weapons domains; ensure artifacts are production-ready for repeated execution.
Collaborate across capability teams, solution architects, and program leadership to harmonize technical domains (infrastructure, cloud operations, systems engineering, software, AI/ML, DevSecOps, cybersecurity) and produce outcome‑centric deliveries. Map mission requirements to Zero Trust controls, RMF control inheritance/reciprocity, and defense‑grade engineering practices across enterprise IT, edge/OT, and mission platforms; brief executives with concise, data‑driven narratives.
Contribute to learning‑forward capabilities and IRAD transitions, evaluating partner/emerging tech delivery performance, and measuring transition‑to‑program (T2P) outcomes to enhance the cyber portfolio. Reports to: VP, Defense CTO Delivery Services. Primary partnership: CTO Cyber Capability Team Lead (strategic alignment on offerings, delivery playbooks, and outcome metrics). WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Education: Bachelor’s in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field; 4+ years equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Experience: 15+ years supervising/coaching high performing technical teams; prior DoW and U.S. Military customer experience. Required Skills & Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, time management, and programmatic discipline; demonstrated ability to plan, scope, and manage full-lifecycle engagements, including milestone tracking, risk management, and resource coordination; proven ability to lead matrixed delivery teams and review the delivery methodologies to meet Cybersecurity & Zero Trust deliverables and RMF requirements in proposal, orals, and delivery contexts.
Preferred Skills: OT/ICS security, platform & weapons system cybersecurity, enterprise/cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, AI/ML, DevSecOps; PMP or equivalent certification and experience in constrained/SAP environments are a plus. Travel: 25% as required for customer engagements and program delivery. Reporting & Collaboration Security Clearance: Secret clearance required to start with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
