This position reports to: HUB Commercial Operations Manager __ Your role and responsibilities: The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand plans that support business growth, operational efficiency, and inventory optimization.
The role will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Projects, and customers to align forecasts, identify key demand drivers, and support the S&OP process. The Demand Planner will also drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving forecast accuracy and overall demand planning performance. The work model for the role is: Hybrid , Miami, FL #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Develops and maintains an unconstrained demand plan for a rolling 12–18-month horizon using relevant product, customer, and market data.
Partners with Sales and customers to consolidate demand inputs, develop weekly forecasts and consumption models, and support the S&OP process. Collaborates with Sales, Finance, Projects, Product Management, and internal stakeholders to improve forecasting practices and demand plan accuracy. Analyzes market trends, product mix shifts, and key demand drivers to identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy.
Partners with Product Management to incorporate new product launches, phase-outs, and platform changes into the demand plan. Monitors finished goods SKU levels and utilizes Anaplan to support portfolio segmentation, inventory policies, and SKU rationalization initiatives. Maintains inventory planning parameters in SAP and analyzes forecast variances to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the role: Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management or Engineering/related field with 5+ years relevant work experience or associate’s degree in Engineering or related field with 7+ years relevant work experience. SAP and Anaplan experience highly preferred. Strong analytical & problem solving mindset. Must have prior experience with forecasting and demand planning.
