Job Responsibilities Primarily perform procedures around Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) for Internal Audit support engagements, along with provide support around ITGCs assessments for financial statement audit clients   Exercise professional skepticism in the critical assessment of audit evidence   Identify , assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client information management systems   Develop an understanding of clients’ platforms, security, and software   Possess knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX-based operating systems, SQL and other databases, cloud environments, application change management   methodologies   and security best practices   Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of fieldwork and   identify   potential points for improvement   Develop an understanding of client businesses related to assigned engagements   Know and apply specialized knowledge, and the rules, regulations, and code of ethics of the AICPA   Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or professional services, with hands‑on SOX and IT General Controls (ITGC) experience Experience performing controls identification/readiness, design, and operating effectiveness testing, walkthroughs, and documentation Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and document management letter comments to communicate control deficiencies and weaknesses to clients Ability to prepare and maintain audit workpapers and supporting documentation General understanding of IT systems, applications, and business process controls Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience overseeing multiple concurrent engagements, tracking budgets, and meeting delivery deadlines.
