Job Description Summary The Field Service Engineering role is an investment where GE Vernova provides hands-on technical training to fresh graduates. In this role, you will gain practical on-the-job knowledge and technical experience while developing the core skills necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, and support our equipment in the field. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering concepts, technical methods, and operational procedures.
This is an opportunity to join our team for a 1-year fixed-term engagement, offering valuable experience within our core operations. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Work with and adhere to technical instructions and internal processes for on-site repair and maintenance Perform administrative tasks such as: timely and thorough timesheets and expense reports, ordering materials, and documenting work in the SOR and DOR Attend and successfully complete all scheduled training courses Promote customer satisfaction through a high level of quality awareness Maintain a strong safety awareness to ensure that work performed meets the technical requirements of GEV safety standards Knowledge of troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance checks for a wide range of equipment Supervise critical tasks when performed by suppliers on behalf of GEV (e.g., measurements, dimensional checks, and other activities considered by management) Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed in the field.
