Carrier Gas Operations provides on-site air separation units producing nitrogen and oxygen gas production with best-in-class safety, reliability, flexibility and total cost of operation to our semiconductor manufacturing customers.

Also supplying cost effective high purity bulk gas. Work safely in all situations. Champions safety and serves as a supportive resource to others concerning plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures; models good safety practices. Identify potential maintenance needs; enter them into maintenance management system (Maximo). Perform all work in compliance with standard operating and maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety Training skills and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDLs, confined space ent ry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.

Ensure contractors, visitors, co-workers and others comply with company safety policies/procedures. Demonstrates ability to perform plant cold start and warm start with assistance. Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot plant analyzers. Demonstrates ability to perform day-to-day operations of facility independently and collaboratively as needed. Demonstrates thoughtful decision-making in maintaining the reliability and quality of delivered products.

Exhibit instrumentation and mechanical aptitude. Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), corporate procedures; read and interpret blueprints, flow charts, process piping ISOs, simple schematics, P&IDs, electrical schematics; perform basic math operations. Write and redline standard operating procedures. Keep accurate records and be diligent in documentation and record retention policies and procedures.

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of control board and operator interface computer consoles. Conduct comprehensive operator rounds, execute routine water sampling, oversee truck loading operations, and perform operational preventive maintenance tasks. Coordinate and guide completion of PMs. Participate in plant planned outages. Maintain and expect high housekeeping and organizational standards. Work rotating shift schedules that may include nights, weekends and holidays.
