Purpose This role will support the SCL Undergraduate Admissions function supporting the student affairs team. Focused heavily on tracking, reporting, and managing the SCL admissions calendar, this role will heavily assist in the implementation of the admissions review process. Responsibilities Assist in implementation of admissions review strategy, manage the SCL Slate application portal and reviewer queues.
Manage Admissions calendar and keep track of admissions deadlines. Coordinate first time in college admissions review across multiple majors in the School of Civic Leadership in collaboration with UT Admissions and SCL faculty admissions review committee. Coordinate with SCL Academic Affairs, the Ackerman Program, the Forty Acres Scholars Program, and other UT Scholarship programs to facilitate scholarship review.
Submit all relevant documentation to UT Admissions before, during, and after admissions review. Serve as point of contact for faculty admissions committee questions, including Slate functions and processes. Coordinate admissions review committee. Schedule committee meetings, train committee members on Slate and admissions review policies and procedures, follow up with individual committee members to ensure timely review, manage allocation of applications amongst committee members.
Track and report admissions metrics throughout the admissions and yield cycles. Coordinate with SCL Recruitment Office on admissions yield and track accepted offers of admission. Ensure relevant offices within SCL have up-to-date lists and contact information for admitted and incoming students. Assist in the coordination of on campus housing logistics, student life programs and events. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications UT graduate student in good academic standing.
