As part of our marketing team, based in Falls Church, VA, you’ll collaborate with a talented, hands-on group of creative professionals dedicated to designing compelling and engaging brand experiences that resonate and drive growth. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: Design high-impact campaign advertisements, collateral, and a variety of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with GDIT’s brand identity.
Collaborate closely with the brand team to strategically shape and drive the visual direction of our brand. Develop and pitch innovative creative concepts, partnering with team members to execute forward-thinking marketing initiatives. Clearly and confidently articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions to stakeholders. Produce high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines while adeptly managing multiple priorities.
Maintain exceptional quality control standards to ensure all finalized materials are error-free and meet expectations. Support various employee-facing projects and communications, elevating the internal branding experience. Stay informed on cutting-edge design trends and leverage best practices to deliver fresh and relevant creative solutions. Work alongside the brand team and lend support to select brand-level initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Graphic Design Specialist must have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required Experience: 2+ years of relevant graphic design experience required A portfolio link showcasing your creative expertise ( please embed your portfolio link in your resume submission ). Location: Hybrid to Falls Church, Virginia office with the expectation of working 3 days per week in the office SKILLS Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft platforms.
Strong creative and analytical skills to approach design challenges with innovative solutions. Excellent communication abilities to effectively interface with team members and stakeholders. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills for navigating complex design assignments. A keen attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of polished and precise work. Proven ability to excel under tight deadlines with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
