The successful candidate for this role will be required to work across Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster so will need to be based local to these areas and willing to travel regularly throughout the week. Who we are Formed in 2015, Reed Wellbeing has expanded rapidly, developing and delivering evidence-based lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that help people improve their health.

Guided by psychologists, dietitians, physical activity experts and other specialists our local teams support people to make sustainable, positive behavioural changes using engaging and interactive interventions that address individuals’ needs. We deliver our services in the heart of communities, working with local public, private and voluntary partners. We currently provide a range of adult health and wellbeing services in over 20 local authorities.

Services include: weight management, physical activity (including GP referral), smoking cessation, intensive personal support, healthy eating and drinking, health checks and other healthy lifestyle promotion, outreach, support and training services – either directly or through trusted partners. Our One You service helps its local residents live healthier lives and reduce their chances of developing serious illnesses.

Our support includes guidance on moving more, being tobacco free, eating well, drinking less, losing weight and NHS health checks. What is the role about? As a Health & Wellbeing Coach Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering and managing community-based lifestyle and wellbeing services. This role is multi-disciplinary and involves leading one or more specialist service streams, line managing a small team of Health Check Practitioners, directly delivering health and wellbeing behavioural lifestyle interventions and supporting delivery of programme engagement requirements.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include Taking Ownership Line managing a small team of Health Check Practitioners to deliver high impact, high quality lifestyle and wellbeing services. Taking lead responsibility for the service stream Conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and development planning. Monitoring performance, trends and best practice to identify areas of improvement for designated service.

Working Together Liaising with other internal stakeholders such as the Programme Support team and Health & Wellbeing Managers to support the scheduling and coordination of team resources. Promoting the service, meeting with stakeholders and attending local events to build and strengthen referral pathways. Supporting the recruitment and induction of new employees. Being Fair, Open and Honest Directly delivering the services within the service steam, such as health checks.
