Job Responsibilities** * Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, adhering to company policies and project management methodologies. * Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. * Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. * Oversee project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. * Communicate project progress, issues, and risks effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management and clients. * Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective communication.
* Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and documentation. * Procure and manage external vendors and subcontractors as required. * Facilitate project close-out activities, including lessons learned and final documentation. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical ) or Project Management. * Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy sector (power transmission, distribution, renewable energy, etc.).
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. * PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. * Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. * Fluency in English; knowledge of local Indian languages is an advantage.
