Summary   The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Mary Free Bed.

This individual implements specific curriculum designed to work toward each child’s Treatment Plan, goals, and individual needs, monitors individual and group programs. This individual completes, priorities and organizes technical aspects of patient care as delegated and supervised by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBT’s implement line therapy, typically in a 1:1 ratio, with children diagnosed with autism.

Essential Job Responsibilities   Demonstrates excellent customer service. Greets & services patients and family in a courteous, professional manner. Ensures that customer needs are addressed, and expectations are met and/or exceeded. Contributes to organization success targets from patient satisfactions, quality outcomes and net operating margin. Assist patient/family with questions and concerns and involve BCBA in communications as it relates to care and progress   Collects data and implements approved programs using principles of applied behavior analysis   Maintain daily data collection, records and written daily communication   Applies reinforcement appropriately and specifically throughout the day   Assists in organizing and participating in structured group activities utilizing leader-prompter model and reinforcement   Maintains professional communication with families through authorized daily notes and verbal communications   Carries out treatment plan and programming during parent observations   Supports Manager/Coordinator in assigned duties   Maintains confidentiality with information in the appropriate manner.
