The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to clients and patients across a variety of settings, including residential programs, behavioral health services, substance use treatment programs, crisis centers, outpatient clinics, primary care clinics, and community-based environments. The RN conducts assessments, coordinates care, administers medications, monitors health conditions, collaborates with providers and treatment teams, educates clients and families, and supports positive health outcomes through evidence-based nursing practices.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate care and improve client outcomes. Educate clients, families, and guardians regarding health conditions, disease prevention, prescribed medications, and wellness strategies. Monitor client health status throughout treatment and develop action plans addressing physical and behavioral health needs.

Administer and oversee medications, including injections, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, laboratory results, and treatment modifications, consulting with providers as needed. Coordinate medical appointments, specialty care, pharmacy services, and community resources to meet client healthcare needs. Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, laboratory collection, and specialized clinical procedures.

Support infection control initiatives, hygiene practices, and overall health and safety within assigned programs. Respond appropriately to medical concerns, injuries, adverse drug reactions, and other healthcare-related situations. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Contribute to organizational goals and perform additional duties as assigned by program leadership.
