The NICU is part of the Women & Infant Services Department which has been recognized numerous times over the past few years as a Patient Experience Top Performer. Our highly skilled team includes experienced bedside registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, Neonatologists, NNP, Respiratory Therapist, development specialist, Speech Therapists and IBCLC certified lactation consultants that care for the patient population.

As a NICU RN at BEMC, you will join a robust intradisciplinary team including a dedicated medical team, social workers, dieticians, lactation consultants, physical and speech therapists, patient care assistance, developmental specialists, and respiratory therapists.

You will be provided with an individualized orientation program based upon your experience and demonstrated competencies. Previous RN NICU experience is highly preferred! This is a full-time Night   shift opportunity from 6:00PM to 6:30AM. Enjoy a 18% night shift differential and flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.

This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
