The role supports safety and operational personnel across multiple warehouse facilities to ensure continuous improvement systems are in place, driving positive outcomes related to employee safety programs, safety compliance, workers' compensation, and injury/collision experiences. Essential Functions Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for programs/initiatives.

Conducts hazard analysis, evaluation, and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance. Coordinate/facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implement appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate employee and management SHS training and development needs. Provides day-to-day compliance support to Ryder facilities, including performing facility audits.

Additional Responsibilities Support Ryder operations team relative to the leadership of SHS issues. Participate and host vertical-specific training and calls. Develop location safety supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)., Required Qualifications H.S.
