As our Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape how Treehouse Hotels shows up and connects with audiences across social media.
Equal parts creative and strategic, you’ll manage Treehouse’s brand-level social presence while helping guide and support property social channels across the portfolio. From developing content calendars and creative concepts to supporting hotel openings and managing creators, you’ll help bring the playful, distinctive world of Treehouse to life across social. This role requires a strong creative eye, an instinct for what works on social, and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling content.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Social Media to support social strategy for new hotel openings and key brand moments, review and guide property content, and develop the creative direction that brings campaigns and shoots to life. You should be comfortable capturing lo-fi, social-first content when needed and editing short-form video , while also knowing how to brief and direct creators and partners to produce content that feels unmistakably Treehouse.
What You’ll Do Social Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage Treehouse Hotels’ brand social content calendars across Instagram and TikTok, aligning content with brand strategy, marketing priorities, campaigns, openings, programming, and cultural moments. Hotel Openings: Support the Director of Social Media in developing and executing launch strategies for new Treehouse Hotels, helping build pre-opening and launch content plans, identify storytelling opportunities, and coordinate social activity across brand and property channels.
Property Social Support: Partner with property marketing teams to review content calendars for new hotels, and provide strategic and creative guidance, helping ensure property channels feel locally relevant while remaining consistent with the Treehouse brand. Creative Direction & Content Development : Translate social strategies and campaigns into creative concepts, moodboards, shot lists, briefs, and content plans.
Provide clear creative direction to photographers, videographers, creators, and property teams to ensure content is social-first and on brand. Content Capture & Editing: Capture lo-fi, social-first photo and video content as needed and edit existing footage into engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms. This role does not serve as the primary photographer or videographer but should be comfortable creating nimble, native content for social.
Creator & Micro-Influencer Management: Identify and manage relationships with creators and micro-influencers who align with Treehouse, including outreach, briefing, content direction, deliverables, approvals, and ongoing relationship management. Social Media Management: Help oversee Treehouse social channels across Instagram and TikTok, maintaining a cohesive brand voice and visual identity while adapting content to the nuances of each platform.
Community & Cultural Relevance: Stay close to the conversations, creators, formats, and cultural moments shaping social media, identifying opportunities for Treehouse to participate in ways that feel relevant and authentic to the brand. Performance & Optimization: Analyze social media performance to understand what resonates, identify trends and opportunities, and apply learnings to future content and channel strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Creative, property marketing teams, and other internal partners to bring campaigns, programming, partnerships, and key brand moments
