In this critical role, you will implement end-to-end, tailored routing and execution solutions within Apex’s trading environment, ensuring a seamless and efficient trading experience based on each client’s business model. In addition to client configuration and onboarding, this role also involves managing vendor relationships and expenses, creating and maintaining specifications and connectivity databases, and serving as a subject matter expert for Execution Services when collaborating with internal teams.
Manage onboarding connectivity, FIX certification, and routing integration processes for clients, executing brokers, and liquidity venues. Direct testing protocols and oversee the promotion of updates and workflows to production environments. Resolve high-level issues related to connectivity and trading system functionality. Develop and manage relationships with vendor platforms and internal trading, product, and technology teams.
Ensure proper maintenance of technical specifications and connectivity databases. Direct complex, multi-stakeholder onboarding initiatives, adhering to timelines and securing approvals from necessary parties. Identify and contribute to the improvement and streamlining of processes and services, including utilizing firm-approved AI tools and data analysis tools to realize efficiencies Work Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in client facing roles managing trading system connectivity, client integrations, or FIX certification processes.
- Strong background in leading financial technology/FIX implementations and managing vendor relationships. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Deep understanding of FIX protocol, execution methods, and trading workflows from order initiation through settlement. - In-depth understanding of market microstructure, trading protocols, and regulatory requirements. - AI fluency and strong data analysis skills with the ability to organize, manipulate, and interpret data.
