Available Title(s): 158-NN_FACULTY - Teaching Assistant Professor - Career Business Title: Teaching Assistant Professor – Career Employee Type: Faculty Position Term: 9 Month Position Details: The Opportunity: The primary responsibility of this position is to teach economics courses to undergraduate students, with minimal research expectations that may focus on teaching pedagogy or any field within economics.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and engaging instructor, capable of inspiring and attracting students to the discipline of economics. This role also presents the possibility of contributing to the development of a Business Economics minor on the Pullman campus, with substantial support from colleagues and the broader university community. Additional duties include advising students, collaborating with faculty and staff across related disciplines, and actively participating in committees, instructional activities, and other initiatives within the School of Economic Sciences, the Pullman campus, and Washington State University.

The position offers opportunities to mentor undergraduate students and supervise their research projects. All career track appointments should align with current Washington Administrative Code Regulations (WAC 250-61-100). Suitable Qualifications are an appropriate earned degree and experience related to the position. Additional Information: Annual Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
