What the whole index looks like
This check runs against an index of 7,415,865 postings, 3,624,739 of them held live with a full description, crawled from employer career pages across 19 hiring platforms (build 1789890603943). Across the 6,564,432 postings we dated in full (measured 14 Sep 2026): 33.6% are older than 90 days, and of those 50.79% were still being re-crawled within 7 days. That last figure is an aggregate from a full-corpus pass, not a per-posting verdict. How we measure it.
What this does not tell you
It does not say whether a posting is fake or "ghost", and it does not read the employer's intentions. It reports crawl facts. A posting with no re-crawl is missing evidence, not proof of anything. If we cannot resolve the link, we measure nothing rather than guessing.

What does this check actually measure?
Two dates from our own crawl of the employer's page: the publication date the source reports (when it exists) and the last time our crawler saw the posting still being served. Both come from the live index, not from a saved copy.
Can it tell me whether a posting is a ghost job?
No. It can show that a posting is old and still being re-crawled, which is a measured fact. It cannot show that the employer does not intend to hire.
What if the posting is not in your index?
Then the tool says so and measures nothing. We do not guess from the URL text.
