Low Voltage Technician I

Description National Network Services (NNS) is seeking a Low Voltage Technician I. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of structured cabling and low-voltage systems while maintaining company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role works under the direction of Technicians, Lead Technicians, and Project Managers and serves as a foundation for advancement within the organization.

What We Offer Salary Range: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Free Basic Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Company-Matched 401(k) Paid Holidays Paid Time Off General Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background checks and drug screening if required OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and organized Willingness to travel to job sites and occasionally work overtime as project schedules require What You’ll Do Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the installation of structured cabling and low-voltage systems Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards Learn proper installation techniques, cable handling, and termination methods Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Take direction from Technicians, Lead Technicians, and Project Managers Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Support project teams in meeting productivity and quality goals What You’ll Bring Required No prior experience required – training provided Valid Colorado Driver’s License Basic hand tools required Ability and willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures Ability to correctly terminate a minimum of 12 CAT6 jacks per hour Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from job sites Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds Ability to work on ladders and in construction environments Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periods Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Working with our Company Founded in 1989, National Network Services (NNS) is an industry leader in the installation and support of Structured Cabling, Physical Security, Audio Visual, and DC Power Systems.
