Shift: 2nd shift (desirable rotation work schedule) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor the pasteurizing, separating, cooling or freezing, filling, mixing, clean-up, standardizing, and storing operations to ensure that plant production and quality standards are met. Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved. Examine the equipment used in production processes to ensure that equipment is functioning efficiently and is properly cleaned and sanitized.
Arrange for timely repair/resolution of equipment failures. Understands and fulfills the requirements of the SQF 2000 Level 3 code of regulation for food safety and quality. Manages policies, procedures, and programs related to operations. Foster continuous improvement to maintain the SQF 2000 Level 3 certification. Supervise the production scheduling, staffing, and material readiness to meet customer demand.
Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering employee engagement and accountability. Manage employee performance, timekeeping, corrective actions, and labor relations matters as needed.
