Registered Nurse A-2120

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to individuals receiving inpatient behavioral and mental health services. The RN is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized nursing plans of care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring clinical and behavioral status, and evaluating patient outcomes.

The RN works collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychiatric providers, social workers, psychologists, therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to promote stabilization, recovery, safety, and successful transition to the next level of care.
