Respiratory Therapist Day Shift- Internal Contract

Performs under the scope of practice of the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy Chapter 798-X-4. Provides all duties within scope of practice as ordered by physician or protocol and for all age groups as assigned. Promotes best practices in respiratory care through the application of evidenced based medicine involving patient assessment, recommendation, education, intervention and communication with the health care team.

Follows Jackson Hospital Standards of performance, works well in a team, supports operations, and performance improvement. Attends required hospital and departmental based education and stays current in field.
