Primary Purpose Contributes to vegetation control programs through detailed field assessments, contractor coordination, and compliance monitoring, helping maintain system reliability and public safety. Duties and Responsibilities Conducts detailed vegetation assessments and verifies compliance with clearance standards. Reviews contractor work plans and ensures adherence to specifications. Investigates vegetation-related outages and prepares incident documentation.
Communicates with property owners to resolve access issues and explain vegetation control practices. Assists in planning seasonal trimming schedules based on growth patterns and risk analysis. Monitors herbicide application for compliance with environmental regulations. Updates GIS maps and vegetation databases with inspection results. Supports emergency vegetation clearance during storm restoration efforts.
Performs other duties as assigned. Frequent, independent driving to meetings, company locations, field locations and/or active incidents sites while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws is essential to this position and cannot reasonably be accomplished via alternative transportation.
