Job Title: Production Manager Department: Prop Shaft/150B Superline Report To: Plant Manager Location: West Plant JOB DESCRIPTION: A Prop Shaft/Superline Manager ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase an organization’s efficiencies. Duties include building production schedules, making sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines and reviewing the productivity of an organization’s manufacturing equipment, handling disputes among team members and regularly assessing safety standards in all areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Seeking an Operations Production Management Professional to provide leadership and drive accountability to meet and exceed productivity deliverables Manage daily operations to ensure daily productivity goals are met Manage Safety, Quality and Production Ensure compliance to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures Support company, plant, and department objectives Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly & yearly production requirements Drive a culture of accountability and ownership also Identify barriers and bottlenecks to drive improvement Conduct daily meetings, one on ones and address performance gaps on a daily basis Provide ongoing training, coaching and development Maintain a clean and safe working environment to enforce necessary compliance and protocols Develop a technically qualified workforce Set department standards using knowledge of equipment and processes Reduce operating costs, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements Effectively communicate with team members of all levels and status
