Full Time Maintenance Technician- Pinellas County

We’re looking for a Facility Maintenance Rep to help keep our Planet Fitness clubs in top shape! You’ll be the go-to person making sure everything from gym equipment to showers is working smoothly—basically, a behind-the-scenes hero for our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance tasks using various hand and occasional power tools. Travel between multiple Planet Fitness locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties to address facility needs. Diagnose and repair minor issues before they escalate into major problems. Assist senior maintenance technicians with larger or two-person jobs. Maintain and repair gym equipment, tanning beds, HydroMassage machines, restrooms, showers, TVs, ceiling tiles, and more.

Qualifications: Experience or knowledge of the following areas: Basic Drywall Basic Tile Work Basic Electrical Basic Plumbing Basic computer skills. A proactive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and identify tasks that need attention without direct supervision. Excellent communication and listening skills. Comfortable interacting professionally and respectfully with staff and members.

High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in a skilled trade is a plus, but not required. What We’re Looking For: A passion for health and fitness. A positive, upbeat attitude. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. Frequent verbal communication in person and by phone.
