Job Title: RN Neonatal ICU Duration: 13+ Weeks Location: New York City, NY 10016 Schedule: (12X3 Days) - 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Job Description: Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants. Caring for the basic needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers. Performing medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, and administering medications.
Assisting the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments. Using and adjusting specialized medical equipment. Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments. Comforting ill newborns and anxious parents and family members. Requirements: Two years of the following experience is required: Maternal and child experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill Conscious sedation.
New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, NRP certified,
