Start date: As soon as possible Definition: The 1:1 nurses primary responsibility is to care for the assigned student with documented special needs per their Individualized Educational Plan and Individualized Health Care Plan.
Supervision: Works under the general supervision of the Director of Health Services in accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws, Department of Public Health Regulations, and the Board of Registration in Nursing. The 1:1 nurse works collaboratively with the building nurse. Essential Functions: Assess and evaluate students medical history, including social, behavioral, psychological and familial concerns.
