The position reports into the Controller and is located in Huntington Beach. PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK RESPONSIBILITIES:PAGE-BREAK The primary responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include: PAGE-BREAK Generating and reviewing journal entries for routine and non-routine transactionsPAGE-BREAK Reviewing account reconciliations, with an understanding of the nature of each accountPAGE-BREAK Participating in monthly financial close and reporting processPAGE-BREAK Assisting with drafting consolidated GAAP financial statements and other external financial reports PAGE-BREAK Establishing and administering effective business controls to safeguard company’s assets PAGE-BREAK Leading and coordinating special projectsPAGE-BREAK Coaching and mentoring direct reportsPAGE-BREAK Supporting and improving financial processes and systemsPAGE-BREAK Coordinating with external auditors for interim and year-end audit process; including preparation of audit schedules, organize and review supporting documentation for audit PAGE-BREAK Performing account and variance analysis and reconciliations, including flux analysis of financial statements PAGE-BREAK Reading and interpreting contracts and other documents to determine correct accounting treatment PAGE-BREAK Willingness to take on new and changing responsibilitiesPAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAKThe successful candidate will have the ability to drive continuous process improvement and ensure consistency in policies and procedures across the organization.
