Allied: Occupational Therapy Assistant

Occupational Therapy Assistant We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic support under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Responsibilities Implement therapy interventions in line with the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.

Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in the therapy process. Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
