Associate, Private Wealth Planning

Global Alternative Investment Company with over $25B of AUM Responsibilities Serve as a core support partner to senior planners on all aspects of the client planning lifecycle Collect, organize, and validate client financial data, assumptions, and supporting documentation Build and maintain client profiles in planning software, assets, liabilities, entities, cash flow, insurance, and goals Construct first-draft financial models, net worth summaries, wealth structure diagrams, and projection scenarios for senior review Run preliminary estate and transfer tax calculations using firm-approved methodology Read through existing estate planning documents to flag gaps, open questions, and planning opportunities Prepare materials and notes for client meetings and drive follow-up items to closure Research technical questions spanning estate, income tax, and financial planning topics and summarize conclusions Help build and refresh internal planning resources — state-specific guides, client education content, templates Monitor tax and regulatory developments relevant to planning work and flag what matters Maintain the firm's network of outside attorneys, accountants, and trust professionals by specialty and region Keep planning files, notes, and templates organized to support team consistency Requirements Bachelor's degree 2–4 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, trust and estate work, or a related analytical finance role Experience with Ultra HNW clients is required Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with dense legal and financial documents Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal instincts A genuine appetite for growth and increasing scope over time Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial planning software is a plus but not required Interest in estate and tax planning, with openness to pursuing a CFP or similar credential down the road
