What the role involves The technician runs diagnostic tests and inspections to pinpoint Audi vehicle issues and determine needed repairs.

Work includes repairing or replacing faulty components in the engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and brake systems, plus other Audi specific parts. Routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements is completed per Audi guidelines. Technicians use specialized diagnostic equipment and software to solve complex issues, record all repairs, maintenance, and parts used accurately, and work with service advisors to give customers clear explanations and estimates.

Staying current on Audi technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training is part of the job, as is keeping the work area clean and organized and working in line with industry standards and safety regulations. What the dealership is looking for Candidates need 2 years of experience as a service technician or similar role in a dealership environment and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Brand experience beyond Audi is welcome, and the dealership accepts experienced technicians from any brand.
