BI Developer Consultant

Role / Title: BI Developer Consultant Complete Description:- Strong technical consultant to assist in a short term database, datawarehouse and application development projects that include PIVS (Property Information Verification System) and CPMS modernization. Resource must be prepared to accommodate a very aggressive schedule. Consultant shall analyze user requirements, design and develop and implement BI dashboards and sites based on user stories.

Consultant shall analyze PIVS architecture and play major role in porting PIVS to MicroStrategy platform. Responsible for all aspects of software development, including, but not limited to, design, development, testing, technical assessments, recommendations for inclusion of new technologies into system application and architecture; Works with business and technical staff in the resolution of software problems and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements; Develop tests and documentation to ensure production readiness.

Skills:- Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Overall development experience Required 10 Years 3 - Expert SDLC and requirements analysis Required 8 Years 3 - Expert hands-on experience with MicroStrategy (version 8 and higher) Architect, Report development, Report performance tuning & Document creation Highly desired 4 Years 2 - Proficient current and hands-on experience in developing interactive dashboards and Report Services documents Required 3 Years 3 - Expert Proficient in sql server 2008 Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient years of current and hands-on experience with Datamarts with Star Schema and Type 2 dimensions Required 2 Years 2 - Proficient Understanding of Dimensional Modeling and ability to provide input in model development Highly desired 2 Years 2 - Proficient Intelligent cube management and knowledge of Transaction services is a Plus Desired 1 Years 2 - Proficient Candidate will have to bring his own laptop.
