Our client, a group of companies who operate in the shipping industry for over 2 decades and today run from several offices globally are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their accounting team based in Limassol. Key Responsibilities: Working in a small team of accountants (5 people) assisting the Manager of the accounts team. Daily tasks may include assisting with routine simple activities such as : invoicing, posting in software, online payments and general bookkeeping.
Prepare documents and materials for audit. Monitor payments from clients and payment schedule to suppliers. Credit line utilisations, repayment schedules. Assist in preparation of transaction documents and documentation for obtaining bank financing Assist in closing the books by helping with reconciliations of general ledger accounts and preparing reports. This role assumes that the candidate will grow in the team, gain further responsibility with time Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Past experience in a shipping company is a benefit (but not required). At least 4 years experience as bookkeeper or similar. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong excel skills. Fluent in Greek and sufficient level of English. Standard office hours and salary offered between 20 - 30K EUR gross.
