PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK RESPONSIBILITIES:PAGE-BREAK The Honolua Merchant/Buyer first and foremost will need to be the Honolua brand ambassador. They will be responsible for managing the total Honolua assortment under the supervision and leadership of the Director of Buying.PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK Responsibilities will include:PAGE-BREAK Product assortment, development needs, line shape and size for Honolua brandPAGE-BREAK Develop and highlight marketed stories and execute the brand vision in store seasonally PAGE-BREAK Work with Visual Merchandising to set directives in storePAGE-BREAK Collaborate with marketing teams to develop POP and Window SignagePAGE-BREAK Strategize and execute new ideas to move the business forwardPAGE-BREAK Execute assortment plans to meet seasonal sales and margin targetsPAGE-BREAK Communicate assortments to production team for developmentPAGE-BREAK OTB and Inventory ManagementPAGE-BREAK Evaluate selling and reporting weekly/monthly to leadershipPAGE-BREAK Order creation and entryPAGE-BREAK SKU MaintenancePAGE-BREAK Manage transfer and markdown files for designated categories and channelsPAGE-BREAK Work cross functionally with planning, allocation, visual merchandising, marketing, and store teamsPAGE-BREAK Additional tasks as neededPAGE-BREAK 1 Direct reportPAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:PAGE-BREAK Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPointPAGE-BREAK Strong Retail Math skillsPAGE-BREAK Ability to analyze and generate accurate sales, turn, and margin reportsPAGE-BREAK Highly organized and strong prioritization skills – comfortable handling multiple categories efficientlyPAGE-BREAK Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment – flexible as day to day may changePAGE-BREAK Strong time management skills with a sense of urgencyPAGE-BREAK Trend forecasting and Industry knowledgePAGE-BREAK Proven strategic vision/execution in a previous areaPAGE-BREAK Ability to learn internal business systemsPAGE-BREAK Strong verbal and communication skillsPAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:PAGE-BREAK 3+ Years as an apparel BuyerPAGE-BREAK Successfully managed a multiple categories in previous experience PAGE-BREAK Education: Bachelor’s degree or higherPAGE-BREAK
