To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 893432 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,478.45 Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Location Elizabethtown, KY | Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating culture, age, developmental level, risk factors, and presenting complaint in accordance with RN scope of practice and department policies.
Develop individualized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the inter-professional team, determining desired outcomes aligned with the medical plan of care. Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within scope of practice; recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately. Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities, including timely execution of discharge orders, discharge teaching, and coordination with Case Management.
Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care provided by other team members. Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities, including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, CAUTIs, and documentation auditing. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) required. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the care team. Proficiency with or ability to be trained on relevant computer systems and clinical applications. Preferred Experience / Skills Previous nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
