Company Event Propagation Analyst | $150–$250/hr | Worldwide Remote Join a cutting-edge financial research initiative building expert-authored forecasting data used to evaluate and improve AI models on real-world financial analysis. This role focuses on company event propagation — identifying related companies ahead of a catalyst event and rigorously estimating how that catalyst transmits across an economic network.

What You'll Do Map suppliers, customers, competitors, distributors, substitutes, and geographic exposure using EDGAR filings, footnotes, exhibits, transcripts, and industry data Identify related companies ahead of events and distinguish direct exposure from weak thematic correlation Estimate direction, magnitude, horizon, and confidence for each transmission, naming the specific revenue, margin, earnings, or valuation mechanism involved Review and grade model-generated analyses against your own expert standard Who We're Looking For Senior sector portfolio manager, lead equity analyst, or event-driven investor with deep, specialized industry knowledge Hands-on experience mapping a company's economic network from primary filings — not screens or third-party data tags Typically 8+ years of direct experience, or unusually strong evidence of equivalent performance Backgrounds of particular interest include top multi-manager and event-driven funds, leading sector teams at major asset managers and banks, and elite specialist research firms — such as Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Balyasny, D.

E. Shaw, and top sell-side sector franchises. Brand-name experience is a strong signal but not a hard requirement; performance on the work sample is the ultimate qualifier. Point-in-Time Discipline All tasks are graded on reasoning from a fixed evidence cutoff. Analysts must work without hindsight, data leakage, confidential information, or material non-public information — mirroring the judgment a strong analyst would have made at that exact moment in time.
