Cost Accounting Manager (US MNC) Permanent SGD7,500.00 - SGD8,500.00 / month The Company Our client is an US MNC in the Manufacturing industry. Keen to hire a Costing talent with strong Cost Accounting experience. The Role Successful Candidate & Expectations Degree/ ACCA qualified Minimum 5 years of strong Cost Accounting and Manufacturing exposure Desired traits: Results-oriented, ability to work independently as an individual contributor, effective communicator to liaise with overseas counterparts Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work independently as an individual contributor to manage cost accounting policies and costing standards for raw materials, hardware, labour, material burden, WIP and end finished goods.

You will analyse production costs and advise impacts to Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) on financial reports, as perform detailed analysis on gross margins relating to products, purchases and inventory. You will prepare gross margin analysis by manufacturing sites, by customers, by manufacturing processes, etc, establish manufacturing cost and variance analysis, and maintain up-to-date products cost and associated Bill of Materials (BOM).

You will partner closely with the Production and Operations team, identify components of gross margin calculations and finished goods respectively, prepare budget versus actuals reports for incurred costs and perform analysis of monthly actual results with comparison to forecast. You will also drive gross margin improvement initiatives, perform costing runs and simulations, and continuously look into system/ process streamlining and enhancement activities.
