To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 897028 Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,458.72 Job Title Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Location Cotulla, TX | Long Term Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Execute specialized therapy plans designed by the supervising OT, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination Teach patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — such as bathing, dressing, and eating — using adaptive techniques Instruct patients and families on the use of adaptive equipment such as reachers, mobility aids, and modified utensils Record detailed notes on patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns, and report findings to the supervising OT to support treatment plan adjustments Provide emotional encouragement to patients and train caregivers on home program assistance Prepare treatment areas, clean equipment, and assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of OTA experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting Active Texas OTA license or compact license required Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities Why Join Us Work in a care environment focused on personalized, goal-driven rehabilitation in a supportive long term care setting Be part of a team that values meaningful patient progress and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to recovery To Apply for this Job Click Here
