Key Responsibilities Provide expert-level legal counsel in criminal defense matters across a range of case types Develop and execute trial strategies, including preparation of arguments, motions, and briefs Conduct thorough case analysis, reviewing evidence, statutes, and relevant case law Draft and review high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence Represent clients with strong advocacy skills while maintaining the highest ethical standards Advise on legal risk, procedural strategy, and potential outcomes Required Skills & Qualifications Extensive experience in criminal law and criminal defense practice Proven trial advocacy skills with courtroom experience Exceptional legal writing and research abilities Strong case analysis and critical thinking skills Demonstrated ethical judgment and professional integrity Active bar membership in good standing This is a remote contractor opportunity open to qualified legal professionals worldwide.
Compensation ranges from $140 to $400 per hour based on experience and case complexity.
