Job Description Generalists possess a wide variety of knowledge across their given Job Role. Instead of developing deep expertise in one specialty, these individuals have a holistic working knowledge of their role and its context within their organization. Generalists understand all of the functional elements of their job role, and act as connection points between different groups Responsibilities Coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and oversee all aspects of projects.
Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of projects. Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and hire new employees as needed. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
Manage data collection for updating metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
