Dishwasher Purpose: Dish washers will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization and storage within the kitchen and BOH areas throughout service. This role is an essential and pivotal role in supporting a smooth operation with a high guest satisfaction. Essential Job Functions: Food: Basic prep items as assigned by BOH management such as but not limited to: Cleaning lettuce, portioning prepared items, straining stocks, peeling potatoes ect.
Health, Sanitation, and Safety: Wash, rinse, sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, service ware ect in a timely and efficient manner Operate commercial dishwashing equipment Garbage and recycling removal as needed throughout shift. Sweep, mop, and other cleaning tasks as directed Employee Relations: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with all other team members through a positive and team-driven work effort.
Communicate clearly and professionally with other employees to help maintain a professional environment Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, vendors, and guests. Other Requirements: Arrive as scheduled for all shifts, ready and prepared to work Maintain proper hygiene and appropriate work attire as outlined by leadership Check out with BOh management at the end of each shift to ensure all daily tasks are completed and communicate and needs to the following day or shift.
