Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET, owning user stories from design through production support. This role is hybrid. Responsibilities Design and maintain scalable backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET. Build and consume RESTful APIs for downstream system integration. Take ownership of user stories from initial design through to production support. Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Resolve defects, performance issues, and technical debt while guiding junior engineers. Required Skills 5+ years of solid experience with .NET (C#) and backend development. Experience working with databases and data persistence. Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications and containerised environments. Confident use of version control and CI/CD pipelines. Working knowledge of testing strategies and quality practices.
Understanding of software design principles and patterns. Awareness of secure coding and non-functional requirements. Preferred Skills Experience supporting and guiding junior engineers. Ability to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
