EMEA Regulatory Affairs Project Manager Location: EU Wide – Home Based Salary: €70,000 to €95,000 dependant on location and experience Introduction Our client is a fast growing, privately owned crop protection organisation with a truly global footprint and a steadily expanding presence across Europe. The company is investing for the long term through portfolio development, strong operational capability, and a supply chain model built to support reliable delivery at scale.
What sets the organisation apart is its combination of pace and pragmatism: teams move quickly, decisions are made close to the market, and regulatory expertise is treated as a strategic driver. The European regulatory function is experienced, collaborative, and operates successfully in a fully remote model across multiple countries, offering autonomy, trust, and meaningful influence. About the Role This is a senior role centred on EU active substance strategy under Regulation (EC) 1107/2009, with clear ownership of complex, high‑value dossiers from strategy through to defence.
You will operate at the point where scientific judgement, regulatory pathways, and long‑term portfolio decisions come together, giving you genuine influence over how critical active substances The company has demonstrated sustained growth over recent years, continuing to expand its European footprint and regulatory capability in a market where many established players are downsizing or restructuring.
This growth is underpinned by long‑term investment, a strong supply chain model, and deliberate portfolio development, creating an environment where regulatory work is closely aligned with future market access and commercial relevance rather than short‑term pressures. Despite its growth trajectory, the organisation remains privately owned and financially stable, allowing it to take a long‑term view on regulatory strategy and product lifecycle management.
Decisions are driven by technical and strategic rationale rather than quarterly volatility, which gives senior regulatory professionals the space to build robust, defensible dossiers and think beyond immediate submission milestones. The company competes directly with major multinational crop protection businesses across core product segments, requiring regulatory standards and authority engagement at the same technical level as top‑tier industry players.
This means the dossiers, interactions with EFSA and Rapporteur Member States, and overall regulatory strategy are complex, visible, and demanding, offering intellectual challenge and professional credibility comparable to roles in the largest organisations, but within a more agile structure. Culturally, the organisation combines global scale with a pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset. Regulatory affairs is closely integrated with R&D, commercial, and supply chain teams, allowing faster decision‑making and meaningful cross‑functional collaboration.
Senior regulatory input is respected and actively sought, reinforcing the position of regulatory affairs as a core business partner rather than a downstream function. The European regulatory team operates successfully in a fully remote model across multiple countries, built on trust, autonomy, and accountability. This structure provides flexibility without compromising influence or visibility, making it particularly well suited to experienced regulatory professionals who want senior responsibility, strategic impact, and long‑term stability without the constraints of a traditional office‑based setup.
